Fire Commission

Adopted by Ordinance after the Town meeting of October 8, 1970 the current Wilton Fire Commision was formed and established for the puropose of organizing and maintaining a fire department within the Town of Wilton.

 

The Fire Commission members shall be known as "Commissioners," all of whom shall be appointed by the Board of Selectmen, no more than two of whom shall be members of the same political party and none of whom shall hold any other office or membership on any other board of the Town while serving as a Commissioner.  Commissioners shall be sworn to the faithful performance of their duties and shall be appointed for a term of two years commencing on the first day of December

Commission Meetings

The Wilton Fire Commission meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Headquarters Fire Station, 236 Danbury Rd at 6:30 p.m. Special meetings are posted at the Town Clerk's Office.  Meeting minutes are posted below.
